AGES 8-13. Foraging and art making are a terrific duo for this fun and engaging week of creativity and traditional knowledge sharing. We’ll spend half the day foraging edible plants in the splendid community garden with local indigenous chef Zack Keeshig, and the other half your child will use this newly acquired information to work on their painting skills and produce cutting edge digitally based art.
Projects and activities that utilize the practices of both pursuits will keep the kids engaged and happy. Along with singalongs, play breaks and kid friendly lunches this will be a fun and creative experience for your child. Friday afternoon will feature a time for a parents/guardians showcase where your children can proudly display their projects, and introduce you to their tools and workspaces.
LUNCH IS INCLUDED! **Please write your child’s name, age, and any food allergies they may have in the comments when signing up for a ticket.
