It’s 1934 when the Great Bank Heist took place in the small Village of Cargill that left local residents stunned, and shocked! What happened during this incredible heist? Did they ever catch the thieves? Where were they from? Why Cargill? What happened to the money? So many questions.
This will be a heist you won’t soon forget! The local cop was across the street getting his hair cut at the local barber shop and bank patrons were horrified, shocked, and frozen with fear! Did the robbers get the vault opened? Did they escape with the cash? And most importantly – did they get caught by the famous cop of the day Otto McClevis? Find out during this exciting afternoon as we take you through the exciting details of 1934!
This tour includes bus transportation (for the tour), local actors, tour guides, visits to historical buildings, beer tasting at the well-known Neustadt Springs Brewery (as well as a full tour of the catacombs), and a full-course Bruce County church supper to finish the day off!
