Welcoming Week (September 13-22) is an annual campaign led by organizations and communities to bring neighbors of all backgrounds together, building strong connections and affirming the importance of welcoming and inclusive places in achieving collective prosperity. During Welcoming Week, the Museum invites newcomers to Canada to participate in our free 45-minute guided tours that explore the rich history and diverse cultural heritage of Bruce County. You’ll learn more about the history, stories, and incredible contributions of the local Anishinaabe Peoples, and Bruce County’s first settlers, gaining insight into their immigration journeys and experiences. FREE; Preregistration is encouraged.
