Small towns like Paisley offer up calorie rich goodies to fuel your muscles and grazing cattle stare at you as you glide silently by.

The most important ingredient for an amazing ride is the road itself; and there are hundreds of kilometres of it in Bruce County. From gravel roads, to converted rail trails, to totally smooth asphalt, there's something for every wheel size and every tread type. Many roads feature paved shoulders for cyclists. Rush hour in Bruce County is non-existent; meaning you can pedal along these incredible routes safely and at your own pace. Twisting roads roll through forests, up and down the escarpment and through beach towns; where you choose to explore is entirely up to you.

There's a six kilometre North Shore Trail from Port Elgin to Southampton; the perfect spot for sunsets. The epic scenery of Purple Valley and on down to (Cape Croker) name formerly known as make for an incredible adventure and beautiful sunrises. If you want sand and sunshine consider following the ribbon of white sand beach that stretches from Saugeen Shores to Kincardine. Cycle from Lake Huron to Georgian Bay in a day. Marvel at the towering cliffs of Lion's Head from the quaint town of the same name. Or roll into the beautiful town of Tobermory for a lazy afternoon watching the boats, while enjoying an ice cream.
