Downtown Tobermory

Whether you're waiting for your reservation at the Grotto, or on your way to a boat tour, be sure to stop and shop downtown Tobermory. With a delightful amount of culinary options, you'll be able to find something for everyone, and more! Comb through the village galleries and shops for unique treasures and one of a kind harbour fashion pieces.  

Hiking & Trails

Imagine walking up to a beautiful lookout and taking in the breathtaking view of crisp multi-coloured trees on top of rocky cliffs looking down onto the crystal clear waters of Georgian Bay. Take in the beauty of Tobermory this fall and let this dream come to life with a thrilling hike along the Bruce Trail. With multiple entry points to the Bruce Trail along the Peninsula, each having a close parking lot, gives you multiple access points to plan your journey. Or head to Singing Sands and enjoy a short hike to the Lake Huron side of Bruce Peninsula National Park.

Calling all angler's this fall in Tobermory! Being at the tip of the Bruce Peninsula allows you the best of both world's, with the warmer shallow waters of Lake Huron, the cool deeper waters of Georgian Bay and plenty of inland lakes for all species of fish you can imagine, in one place. Stop in at any of the inlet Bay's along Lake Huron or throw a line in Georgian Bay at Little Cove or Dunk's Bay. Boat Tours galore!

With 22 shipwrecks around Tobermory, the infamous Flowerpot Island and many other rocky formations to discover, get up close and personal this fall via a boat tour. Whether through Tobermory cruiseline, Blue Heron Cruises, Tobermory Wave Adventures or Bruce Anchor Cruises, each have their own boat tour packages and adventures awaiting your discovery. The perfect time to explore the waters of Georgian Bay is this fall during the off-season to try and avoid the rushes!  

Scuba Diving

With 22 shipwrecks in the area to explore all diving enthusiasts will be thrilled.
