Introduce the kids to astronomy. Bayside Astronomy offers a free program to learn about the importance and beauty of our dark skies and to view and learn about the constellations, planets, the moon, and other deep sky objects live through telescopes. The fun begins with a short star talk at dusk, followed by viewing of the night sky through volunteer telescopes.

Not so strange fact: Kids love caves. Explore 10 limestone caves along the rugged trails where several wilderness movies have been filmed. Be sure to bring good hiking shoes as the rocks can be slippery and bring a flashlight for some parts of the caves.
