The Corran was once a beautiful seventeen room stone mansion overlooking Colpoy’s Bay constructed and owned by Hester and Alexander McNeil. The mansion was destroyed by a fire and later purchased by the Sauble Valley Conservation Authority in 1976.
Crumbled stone walls surrounded by widlflowers and vegetation still remain making this a perfect place to hike, picnic and even swim if you venture down the spiral staircase to the waters of Georgian Bay below.
