Sauble Beach is known as “the Daytona of the north” for good reason: an endless stretch of white sand and 11 kilometers of beach cruising day and night! The route from Sauble through Hope Bay to Lion’s Head is a fun, twisty ride. Lion’s Head is home to Taylor Made B&B, a spot that caters almost exclusively to riders.

North of town the road turns to gravel, so head out to on the Caudle Side Road to Highway 6 and continue northward up to Tobermory and the ferry to Manitoulin Island.

On your adventure, don’t miss the Observation Tower at the Parks Canada Visitor Centre, or a glass-bottom boat tour in Tobermory. On the way up, consider a side trip out to Cape Croker Indian Park off of Purple Valley Road, especially in mid-August on the Cape Croker Pow-Wow weekend.

End your tour by parking your bike by the harbour in downtown Tobermory, and have a bite to eat on the patio at one of the unique restaurants, overlooking the water.
