Saugeen River Trail

Built on the old railway lines that ran in the late 1800s the Saugeen River Rail Trail is a year-round, multi-use trail that offers over 5 km of beautiful scenic views alongside the Saugeen River. It offers a peaceful and calm retreat where you can catch glimpse of various wildlife such as rabbits, birds and turtles. Take the family and on a nature treasure hunt, or allow yourself to sink in a meditative jog or walk or bring your dog to explore the path

Length:5.5 km with loops.
Difficulty:Easy.
Surface:Hard-packed gravel.
Uses:Walking/hiking, cycling, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing.
