Give Me Shelter Too” Studio Twenty Group of Painters’ Paying it Forward Art Exhibition Art doesn’t just reflect reality — it responds to it. Throughout history, art has shaped how communities understand care, justice, and belonging — turning complex truths into shared responsibility. This exhibition brings together local studio artists reflecting on concepts around belonging, home and homelessness. 100% of proceeds from artwork sales support Safe N Sound, helping sustain the relationships and programs that make safety, dignity, and hope possible. About Safe N Sound Safe N Sound provides safety, warmth, and connection for people experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity, including an overnight warming program running six months each year. Supporting 70+ people daily and 30-50 nightly, their work responds to the reality that 199 neighbours in our counties are currently unhoused. Through programs – such as their 24 hour Warming Program, Neighbourhood Response Team, Palliative Care Navigator, Residential Support Units – to supports varying from harm-reduction, showers, laundry, clothing, meals, advocacy, housing and healthcare access – Safe N Sound walks alongside people with dignity and care. Their work is grounded in the belief that home is more than a place; it’s a sense of community belonging. Thank you to the artists, collectors, and community members whose support turns creativity into care.
