Dizzy Bird Coffee – Southampton

From the same owners of Rabbit Dash Coffee House, Dizzy Bird Coffee is a small town coffeehouse and roastery in Southampton, specializing in unique brewing methods. Much like Rabbit Dash, there’s an expansive menu of espresso beverages, as well as smoothies and Italian soda.

In addition, fresh bagels from Southampton Bagel Co are a staple on the menu, and you’ll also find sandwiches and paninis for every taste. The Plant Pantry, in partnership with Plant Pantry Cuisine, offers vegan-friendly, healthy meals with gluten-free options (available Monday-Thursday). There is an assortment of gluten-free treats at Dizzy Bird Coffee, too.

Pick up a coffee at Dizzy Bird Coffee and go for a stroll around Southampton’s Fairy Lake. It’s a really quiet and secluded spot in town where you’ll walk the perimeter of a pretty little lake. You might spot some wildlife on the way.

Little Blue House Coffee Co – Tiverton

Little Blue House Coffee Co. & Gallery is a community hub and lovely gathering space in Tiverton. This adorable blue home has a history of being a community space, as the original home of the Tiverton Women’s Institute, the town library and a beloved fudge shop. Their coffee is organic and fair-trade with beans roasted locally by Ironwood Coffee Company on the shores of Georgian Bay. Stop by to enjoy a delicious brewed cuppa, a specialty latte or one of their famous fritters.

The shop doubles as an art gallery featuring art, paintings, photography, found materials and more from artists across Ontario. There’s also a makers shop highlighting local artisans and handmade businesses from Tiverton and beyond. Happy Hive Bakery and Café – Paisley

Happy Hive Bakery and Cafe is a memorable stop on your road trip around Bruce County or your trip to the town of Paisley. Two Chicks Café – Sauble Beach

Two Chicks Cafe in Sauble Beach is a wonderful coffee shop and smoothie bar not far from the beach. If you’re enjoying a day at the beach and feeling a bit hungry, wander over to Two Chicks Cafe for a sandwich, wrap, salad or smoothie. They also serve fresh baked goods and breakfast fare, too.

With their indoor and outdoor dining areas, you might choose to order a coffee and relax outdoors in their pastel coloured Muskoka chairs. There’s also live entertainment on occasion, as well as complimentary Wi-Fi. Please note that Two Chicks Cafe is only open seasonally. Please check their hours before planning your visit.

Amicis Coffee Bar – Sauble Beach

For those who want some people watching with their brew of choice, the patio at Amicis offers more than just a great place to sit; it’s dog-friendly, and the cafe offers free Wi-Fi as well. Amicis coffee selections are plentiful, with lots of delicious home-baked breakfast items, treats, light lunch options, and not surprisingly – given the name – a terrific gelato. The patio fills up quickly in season, best not to be in a rush to score a primo table.

Lost Art Espresso – Wiarton

Lost Art Espresso is a bright and welcoming coffee shop in Wiarton serving up tasty caffeinated beverages, like flavoured lattes and espresso drinks. Open since late 2022, Lost Art Espresso is one of the newest coffee shops in Bruce County, and it’s quickly become one of the best cafes in the region.

You may want to stay a while to enjoy your latte or cappuccino, be sure to browse their small retail section. There are coffee beans, Aeropress coffee makers, artisanal tea, handmade pottery, locally made bars of soap, fragrant candles and many beautiful items that are local to Bruce County.

Stella Gelato Café – Tobermory

Can’t decide between a caffeinated beverage and a sweet treat? Now you don’t have to choose! At Stella Gelato Cafe in Tobermory, enjoy sweet and yummy gelato in a wide variety of flavours while ordering a coffee at the same time. They also serve iced frappes, iced lattes and gelato milkshakes to help beat the summer heat.

Go for a walk around the harbour while soaking up the beautiful views. Tobermory has many fantastic hiking trails not too far from town, like the Burnt Point Loop to the Little Dunks Bay Lookout. You could also enjoy a coffee in the morning at Stella Gelato Cafe, embark on a glass-bottom boat tour to Flowerpot Island and come back in the afternoon for a gelato. Please note that Stella Gelato Cafe is only open seasonally.
