Join us at the Walker House Museum on Saturday, September 20th, 2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. for a presentation by local author and historian Sylvia Hasbury.
Sylvia is an author and a research coordinator at the Bruce County Genealogical Society. Her work with the Society has given her great insight into some of Bruce County’s families and the fascinating stories that unfold. Her book, John Gentles in Kincardine: The History of a Town through the Eyes of a Gentleman, touches on John Gentles, a prize-winning harness racer who lived in Kincardine for most of his life. Learn more about Gentles and his involvement with Kincardine and Bruce County’s history at the Author Talk and Q&A.
Admittance is by donation. To reserve a seat, please contact The Walker House Museum.
