August 7|11:00 AM – 1:00 PM Elder Shirley John, Elder Stories Author talks Highlighting the work of local Indigenous authors with in-person readings and discussions. Creation and Elder stories Oral histories passed down through generations that tell the story of how the Earth came to be, our connection to the land and the origins of traditions and cultural practices. Indigenous teaching Educational workshops on topics such as traditional crafts, healing practices, and more.
