Join us for an exciting and vibrant celebration of cultures from around the world at the 4th Annual Multicultural Day Celebration!
Hosted by YMCA of Owen Sound Grey Bruce in partnership with the Town of Saugeen Shores, this free, family-friendly event is the perfect way to experience the rich diversity that makes our community so special. Whether you’re a foodie, a music lover, or someone who enjoys exploring new traditions, there’s something for everyone!

⌚ Time: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
🗺️ Location: Pioneer Park, 70 Front St, Southampton, ON (rain location is Southampton Coliseum, 26 Albert St S, Southampton, ON)
🚪 Admission: FREE event, open to all, with donations gratefully accepted. You are welcome to wear your traditional cultural clothing.
Event Activities:
Opening Ceremonies with Saugeen First Nation and Mayor Luke Charbonneau begins at 11:00 AM
Live global music and cultural performances all day including:
- Saugeen First Nation Drumming Circle,
- Caribbean Steel Drums,
- Ukrainian and Highland Dance,
- Chinese Heritage, and
- Dhol Bagpipes.
A variety of international food vendors; an arts and crafts vendor market with unique, handmade items; fun and educational children’s activities including henna tattoos, face painting, arts and crafts, games and more! Join us as we embrace diversity, promote cultural appreciation, and create lasting memories as we celebrate the cultures that make our community shine.
