111 metre ship – 650 passengers – 140 vehicles

Board the MS Chi-Cheemaun, or ‘the Big Canoe’, by car, camper, bike (motor and pedal) or bus for a short cut to Northern Ontario or an experience in its own right. Set sail for a 2 hour cruise from Tobermory at the very tip of the Bruce Peninsula, to Manitoulin Island, the world’s largest freshwater island. The 111 metre ship can ferry almost 650 passengers and over 140 vehicles! To make the 40 kilometre crossing comfortable, the ferry has a complete cafeteria service, a children’s play area, indoor and outdoor lounges and a “Boatique” gift shop.
