Walker House Remembers: Opening and Speaker Presentations 235 Harbour Street Kincardine On, N2Z 2X9

Join us for a special speaker presentation marking the opening of “Walker House Remembers: Collaborative Community Exhibit.”  The Walker House Remembers exhibit is sponsored by Veterans Affairs Canada and organized in partnership with residents of Bruce, Huron, and Grey Counties.

The exhibit will feature items from the Walker House Museum’s collection, as well as artifacts and personal stories generously loaned by community members. It seeks to honour and preserve the stories of those who served, sacrificed, and triumphed during the First and Second World Wars.

This special opening event features two engaging presentations by local historians:
🎤 David Yates “Never Shall Their Glory Fade: The Cenotaphs of Huron”
🎤 Kevin Larson “HMCS Kincardine and Canada’s Corvette Navy”
