Celebrate Bruce Trail Day with us! Join the Peninsula Bruce Trail Club on Sunday, October 4 for a day of hiking, nature and community on the Saugeen Bruce Peninsula! Location: Ferndale Visitor’s Centre Time: 11 AM–2 PM Cost: Free & family-friendly! Choose from four free guided hikes throughout the day: 8:30 AM – Lion’s Head Lookout 9:00 AM – Flora & Fauna at Barrow Bay Cliffs 12:30 PM – Boundary Bluffs Experience (Interpretative hike with Anishinaabe Cultural Experiences program) 1:00 PM – A Journey Through Time on Jones Bluff (Interpretative hike with Anishinaabe Cultural Experiences program) Limited spaces available — advance registration is encouraged! Not hiking? Come by the Visitor’s Centre for family-friendly activities (including bird box building with the Men’s Shed), free refreshments (including scone dogs at noon while supplies last!), information about year-round hikes, and opportunities to learn about land stewardship and volunteering. Whether you’re a longtime Bruce Trail lover or discovering it for the first time, Bruce Trail Day is a great way to get outside, meet your trail community, and celebrate this incredible landscape.
