Start your tour at Formosa Springs Brewery 1870 Inc, one of the oldest operating breweries in Canada with award winning, crisp tasting lager – thanks to their secret ingredient, spring water, sourced from a pristine aquifer in the brewery’s backyard. Visit this designated historical site and take your pick of one of their signature beers.

 Next, stop at Grey Matter Beer Company in Kincardine. An absolute must visit when you are in the area, Grey Matter offers over 12 varieties of beer and a friendly atmosphere. This is a beer lover’s haven, with something every member of your group can enjoy, from crisp lagers to intense flavours like the “Mission to Mars”, an oatmeal-based brew.  

Travelling along Highway 21 into Port Elgin, you’ll have the chance to stop at Three Sheets Brewing Company. Bruce County’s newest brewery, established in 2019, Three Sheets features well-made and delicious beers from India Pale Ales to Pilsners and everything in between.

Just down the road in Southampton you’ll find Outlaw Brewing Company, where you’ll be welcomed by a friendly staff and country ambiance that will transport you to a whole new place, without ever leaving Bruce County. 

From Southampton, you’ll traverse the rest of Bruce County all the way up to the tip of the peninsula to visit Tobermory Brewing Company. Overlooking the harbour in this coveted destination, Tobermory Brewing Company uses the finest of ingredients in their small batches, without any additives or preservatives. This gives the beer a unique freshness you’re sure to enjoy.
