Saugeen Bluffs Conservation Area

Saugeen Bluffs Conservation Area has approximately 180 camping sites suitable for both tent and trailer users, as well as seasonals. Visitors can choose from sites tucked in amongst mature sugar maples or beside the spectacular Saugeen River. Over 102 sites have electrical and water hook-ups.

Test your skills in the horseshoe pit or enjoy a friendly game of volleyball. Throughout the peak season, movies and games such as bingo are enjoyed on the weekends.

This park features a store, showers, a laundromat, two playgrounds, a wading pool, a small visitor centre, two picnic pavilions, canoe rentals, and much more.

Saugeen Bluffs is a fabulous park to camp in with your entire family! The campsites are spacious, well-treed and private. Best of all, you are only a short distance away from the famous Lake Huron shoreline beaches and shopping.

The Bluffs is open on the last weekend in April and closes after the Thanksgiving weekend. Handicapped access is also available within specific areas of the park.

Horse Camping

Saugeen Bluffs is located in the heart of Bruce County along the Saugeen River. It includes a horse campground with large, spacious sites tucked in amongst towering hardwoods. The park is quaint and charming located approximately 4 km north of the Village of Paisley and only a 15-minute drive from the Lake Huron Shoreline and sandy beaches.

There are over 12 km of trails in mature woodlands for both campers and day rides. The park also features a shower building, laundromat, store and an activity centre, which is available to campers to rent (for special occasions) or utilize during your stay, free of charge with an internet cafe. There is a large picnic shelter and Event Ring available to horse campers, as well as scheduled workshops and clinics throughout the season.

There are also several other trails within a short distance making Saugeen Bluffs a great week-long destination. In addition, there are plenty of shopping opportunities in Paisley, Kincardine, Port Elgin and Southampton as well as sandy beaches, markets, the Bruce County Museum, and many other event opportunities and attractions.
