On Thursday, September 15, 2022, Huron Shores Hospice will host our 6th annual Handbags for Hospice gala at Kincardine’s Pavilion to help sustain our two-bed residential suites. All proceeds from the gala will go to our community hospice and programming to ensure that quality end-of-life care and grief recovery are available for your friends, family, and neighbors. Tickets will be $65.00 and will go on sale on August 5th, 2022 at 7:30 am Handbags for Hospice is an annual gala that brings together 170 supporters for a fabulous evening of handbags, food, drink, laughs, fun and fundraising to celebrate the Power of the Purse. The Last handbags event in 2019 was a glamorous fundraising gala, which raised over $180,000. We look forward to welcoming back our Handbags for Hospice event in 2022. This year’s empowering evening consists of live and silent auctions of over ninety designer handbags, luxury experiences, and getaways, as well as a wine wall, trivia game, and a premium prize raffle. The evening will once again feature the high-energy, entertainment-packed Layne, The Auctionista. Please note that COVID-19 precautions such as proof of vaccination is required for all volunteers and attendees.
