Day 1 

For your cozy getaway, find a place to stay in Port Elgin, Southampton or Kincardine. Enjoy a walk along the water as the sun sets before going to a delicious dinner at Room 797 in Southampton.

Day 2

Start your day at Dizzy Bird for a delicious cup of coffee (or latte!) and breakfast.

Tour the Southampton Arts Centre and take in beautiful art showcasing the creativity rooted in Bruce County. For local history and culture, be sure to visit the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre.

Make your way south to Port Elgin with a scenic drive along the coast. Start on Huron Street then Miramichi Bay and North Shore Road for the best views of Lake Huron’s waters from the shoreline, watch for Chantry Island lighthouse off in the distance! For the best view of the lighthouse, stop along Chantry Island Drive.

Imagine connecting back to yourself and nature among the trees with a visit to Cedarvale Wellbeing, a hot and cold contrast therapy and breathwork studio located outside of Port Elgin, steps away from a provincial park. Day 3

Explore more of the coast with a visit to Kincardine. Take a scenic walk at Stoney Island Conservation Area or through the Kincardine Trails (a great place to start is Geddes Park!)

Make your way downtown and enjoy a delicious coffee from the Daily Grind. Take your time strolling through town and stop into shops like Stilara, West Shore and Accents. After some shopping, stop for lunch at The Bruce and enjoy a beautiful view of the lighthouse and water. Then spend some time by the water and take in the beauty of Lake Huron with a picturesque walk down Harbour Street towards the lighthouse, harbour and along the boardwalk. Enjoy a slower, more relaxed pace as you explore this lakeside downtown.
