Solo Restorative Retreat

Rest and recharge on a solo trip to Mildmay, Lucknow and Point Clark this winter. Breathe the crisp, fresh air on serene walks, book a massage and infrared sauna session at a wellness studio and spend time along the coast of Lake Huron.

Day 1

Find a cozy place to stay on your solo retreat. Take in a long, deep breath and enjoy the fresh air as you explore the outdoors on a long and peaceful walk. Afterwards, warm up with a good book and enjoy a slower and more relaxed pace during your visit to the countryside.

Day 2

Drive to Mildmay and make a stop at Harley’s Pub and Perk for a cup of coffee and delicious breakfast. Then make your way to the lake and drive through Lucknow to browse the downtown. Stop into Farmacia Health Bar for a smoothie, juice or wellness shot. Visit Everlastings Flowers and Gifts for plants and home decor items and pick up a butter tart (or two!) from Armstrong’s Bakery.

Treat yourself to ultimate relaxation at Halo Health & Wellness. Book a massage to release tense muscles and enhance your overall well-being and an infrared sauna session to experience the rejuvenating warmth. Let the gentle heat ease your muscles and leave you feeling a deep sense of relaxation and vitality. Take the time to truly unwind and leave feeling refreshed.

For lunch, stop into Pine River Cheese Mercato and Pizzeria for pizza, pasta, salads and gelato, before spending time at the lake with a visit to the Point Clark Lighthouse. The museum is closed for the season, but the lighthouse and its surroundings make for a beautiful photo op. Take in this impressive beacon and get a taste of the marine heritage in Bruce County. Walk along the Lake Huron shoreline and feel a sense of peace and relaxation as you spend time by the water. End your day with a delicious dinner at West 81 Food Co. in Point Clark.

Choose from an array of accommodations to make your winter getaway truly magical.
