Trek the Trails, Together

Visit the Bruce Peninsula with your travel buddy for the ultimate hiking adventure.

Day 1

Find a place to stay and explore the communities of Wiarton, Lion’s Head and Tobermory.

Connect with nature as you hit the trails, take in the beautiful terrain of the Bruce Peninsula and lookouts to the turquoise blue waters of Georgian Bay.

Day 2

Fuel up for your hike and start your morning with breakfast at Lost Art Espresso, in Wiarton, then lace up your boots and enjoy forested trails and beautiful scenic lookouts of the water.

Day 3

As you make your way to Tobermory, visit Bruce Peninsula National Park. For popular access points, you will need to book a parking reservation. These include the Grotto and Halfway Log Dump.

Other hiking options include Overhanging Point and Devil’s Monument, where you will witness more incredible rock formations and breathtaking lookouts.

For another great view, climb up the observation tower at the Bruce Peninsula National Park Visitor’s Centre. Stop for lunch or dinner at Tobermory Brewing Company and Grill or Pharos. Walk along Little Tub Harbour and end your day with a visit to Big Tub Lighthouse.

If you’re looking to explore on (or under!) the water, be sure to book a boat tour with Blue Heron Cruises, Bruce Anchor Cruises, Tobermory Wave Adventures or Diver’s Den. See shipwrecks under water, lighthouses, Flowerpot Island and an incredible view of the Peninsula shoreline. Extend your trip with a ride on the Chi-Cheemaun Passenger & Vehicle Ferry which travels from Tobermory to Manitoulin Island.
